Welcome to Camerata New England
Camerata New England is a highly esteemed professional chamber ensemble, drawing musicians from throughout northern New England, Boston, Montreal, and New York City. Under the artistic direction of Ronald Leonard, Camerata New England performs in chamber groups of all sizes and configurations.
Camerata New England is committed to working with our partners to offer communities of all sizes and individuals of all ages access to a high quality, professional, live musical experience, especially in areas that are traditionally underserved.
Camerata New England is based at the Lebanon Opera House, where the ensemble performs at least two concerts each year, and also performs throughout New England.
Camerata New England is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Mission
Camerata New England is a non-profit professional chamber ensemble dedicated to sharing the inspiration and joy of classical music with the urban and rural populations of northern New England and beyond. Through a wide range of repertoire, and educational programs especially in underserved areas, we will develop new audiences for classical music, promote New England composers and musicians, and enrich the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.
