Working Together
The benefits of music are indisputable, immediate, and lifelong. Hearing music as it was meant to be played, performed by experienced, professional musicians is a life-enhancing experience. But limited local resources can make it difficult for people who don’t live in a cultural center to attend live performances of classical music.
Camerata New England is committed to providing this important part of our culture to the people of New Hampshire, New England, and beyond. We are already working with schools, community groups, and other arts organizations to provide access.

Northern Lights: Variations on a Theme is an art exhibition of works by Northern New Hampshire artists that complements CNE's Spring 2010 concert season. Outreach
Large and small groups of musicians can perform for students in public schools. Students are introduced to orchestral chamber repertoire, a variety of string instruments and how they are played, and professional musicians who can provide insight into their working lives.
Spring 2010: CNE returns to New Hampshire’s Great North Woods for a concert and school-based outreach programs in Colebrook in collaboration with the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire and the Great North Woods Committee for the Arts. Building on last year’s successful program in Whitefield and Lancaster, a CNE string trio (violin, cello, and viola) joined Colebrook Elementary School students for a hands-on, educational experience in the days leading up to the concert at Trinity United Methodist Church, Colebrook. The visit was led by Peter Sulski, principal violist, who has conducted similar programs through the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
